Cars is an Artist
Based in New Orleans.
Cars works in miniatures and photography. For over a decade, they have drawn from scenes observed around the city to create handmade models and cinematic photographs that feel familiar but not entirely trustworthy, like a memory. Cars received a BA in Visual Arts from Wesleyan University and also works as a graphic designer in film and television.

Cars is a Graphic Designer
For Film and Television
Cars has been working in film and television since 2010 doing set decoration, art direction, prop fabrication and the occasional SFX. But since 2017 they’ve been focusing on graphics. In 2022 they were the Lead Graphic Designer on AMC’s Interview With The Vampire and made so many period appropriate signs for the back lot.
Sometimes they do other things, like make gifs, or design for restaurants, or go on adventures around the country in an old pickup truck.
